Biography:

Belfie. A young and fresh Italian musician, based in Rome.
He has been playing in a selection of the best clubs of Europe, like Studio 80 (Amsterdam), Rashomon Club (Rome), Altavoz (Venice), Club Youtopia (Romania).

His love for music was born early; he started to play guitar at 12 and was listening all genres of music.
Growing up with Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk, in 2004 Francesco Belfiore (his real name) fell in love with house and techno music.

At the same time he began playing vinyls; and producing aswell in the following year.
He discovered the history of house music from the start; records from Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles and Louie Vega,
His preference in electronic music will develop into the sound of dj’s/producers like Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Chez Damier and Ron Trent.

In 2007 Francesco meets Marco Toce, and they decide to start the project Belfie & Toche. The two guys released their first vinyl in 2009, under the name BT Project on “Saf Series” (Mihalis Safras’s Material Series sublabel).
In 2010 they released on “Robsoul” (Phil Weeks' s label), “Mixxrecords” (Brother' s Vibe label) and produced a lot of remixes for other labels aswell.
In 2011 they released the hit "Mad & Son" on OFF Recordings, an important label based in Berlin managed by Andre Crom & Jens Nicolao (fumée grise).

In this year Belfie decides to end the partnership with Toche and start his personal project.
Andre Crom inserts the producer among the OFF LABEL leading artists.

Belfie joined The Fresh Kids. A young and dynamic booking agency, which is based in Amsterdam and owned by Anneke Dekkers.

In 2011 Belfie released a special track on OFF compilation "Get Back To The Raw".
Soon in 2012 dj Wild will release a Belfie EP on his own label CATWASH.
Belfie started a new musical project with Marcus ”LESS THAN REAL“ The first release from the duo will be released on OFF Recordings and will become the first hit of the new year.

All of Belfie' s productions are allready in the record bags of the best international dj/producers, in fact he is supported from a lot of first flavour artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Gel Abril, Mihai Popoviciu, Nekes, AFFKT, Meat, Anthony Collins, Mirco Violi, Varoslav, DJ Sneak, Phil Weeks, Chris Carrier, Brother' s Vibe and many more
